Jennia D’Lima is a professional editor who is thorough, on-time, and professional. Most of all she has a big heart and encourages your project from the get go with human insight and an editor’s eye on clarity. When I needed editing, Jennia and few other editors offered a sample edit on my first book to see if I would be interested. Compared to the other editors, Jennia’s sample edit stood out due the collaborative nature of her comments and the fact that she completed an entire chapter where the other editors only completed a few pages.

Jennia edited my 230 page book with numerous comments in Word over multiple passes. After she returned the entire manuscript with edits, I took 3-4 weeks to revise and send back to her for another pass. She was easily accessible by text or email during the process, and we set up a few Zoom calls to collaborate further. Jennia pushed me to stick to my memoir’s theme and include how I felt at the time issues presented as well as later.
