Pricing per project is determined after either a sample edit or reading a section of the manuscript. Factors that go into consideration for the final price include genre, level of editing requested, and turnaround time (a small extra fee is attached to rush jobs), as well as the complexity of the project (such as research required for historical fiction or keeping track of extensive world-building in sci-fi or fantasy).  All prices include a second round at no additional cost. In some cases, a complimentary third round may also be included.
